5 Questions with Matt Burn from Underground Kitchen

It is no secret! The food at Underground Kitchen in Fergus is totally delicious! From handmade roti, yummy soups and daily specials there is something for everyone. If you haven’t tried it, we highly recommend that you do!

Can you tell us about your business?

I have a small take out Roti Restaurant in Fergus called Underground Kitchen. It opened 5 years ago and I am thankful it has developed a strong following!

What do you enjoy most about living and working in Centre Wellington?

I like being in a small community but one that is close to larger cities.

What makes this community unique?

This community is unique in its urban and rural mixture. You could easily see a farm tractor following a Tesla.

Can you share some of your favourite things to do in Centre Wellington?

I enjoy Lake Belwood – walking, swimming, kayaking and fishing!

What advice would you give to someone thinking of moving to Centre Wellington?

Buy soon! The market is just going up!
