Alex MacDonald entered the real estate world specifically to work with the Impact Realty Group. He was eager to join this dynamic team and learn from the best. It was a career decision that took him from being an investment buyer, to becoming a licensed realtor working for others. It was the right move for Alex. Ambitious and keen, he is an effective member of the sales team, setting high personal goals, while never losing sight of that the fact that his success is based on that of his clients.
“It’s important to have a realtor that cares for the clients and what’s best for them. If I’m selling a home, it’s important to get the right price for my clients, but if I’m helping someone buy a home, it has to be the right home for them. My job is to meet their needs. They are counting on me to work hard for them, but also to be honest throughout the process. At Impact Realty Group, we all share that focus of creating a positive customer service experience. I believe that makes us stand out. We work hard for our clients.”
Authenticity and professionalism guide Alex through every experience. He has developed a reputation for accountability with his clients.
“Buying and selling homes is a stressful event for our clients. Mitigating that stress on behalf of the people I’m working for is critical. I learned early on that if something is a big deal for my clients, it has to be a big deal to me. And I know, at the end of the day, that if I have helped a client feel good about a decision, whether I’ve helped them find the right house, or sell their home for more than they expected to get for it, either way, that is a good day. It’s the best feeling.”
Having lived in Centre Wellington for 17 years, Alex is someone who appreciates the great outdoors and variety of activities that living in this community affords his young family. He and wife Naomi have big plans to grow a future here. It’s important to them to raise their son, Logan, and daughter, Eleanor, in a place where they will make life-long friends, attend good schools and have access to many different sports and activities. Embedded in the Grace Christian Fellowship, (where Alex plays bass guitar in the worship band), they feel good about giving their children hometown roots here. For Alex, it’s rewarding to know he is helping other families do the same.
