❄️ As March comes to an end, so does one of the heaviest winters we’ve seen in years! We hope you had a chance to enjoy some winter sports ⛷️🏒🚀. Whether it was hockey games, skiing, or snowmobiling, winter enthusiasts truly had a season to remember!

Market Update
The early spring market did start off rather hot🔥. Good homes were selling well and we were seeing some multiple offers📈 again. The larger markets around us were also experiencing multiple offers on a regular basis and pricing seemed to be on the rise. More recently, with plenty of election talks🗳️ in Canada and the relentless influx of negative news from our Southern neighbours in the U.S., our market has become quite unpredictable🎢. Historically, in times of uncertainty, real estate markets stall. When families are worried about job security and economy, they typically do nothing…just stay put. Given this, we do feel that once the election has passed and people become tolerant and understanding that we are likely in for 4 years of social media propaganda….our real estate markets should easily maintain strength and follow a more traditional growth pattern📊 for the remainder of 2025.
Looking ahead
One thing we should be excited about is interest rates📉. On March 12th the Bank of Canada lowered the key policy rate to 2.75%💰. Prime Rate is currently at 4.95%, and many lenders are offering 5-year mortgages at under 4%🏠. These are great rates and provide opportunities for those looking to make a move or investment.
