HERE COMES THE SUN! 

The sun is out, the kids are done school for the summer, and the vacations are starting! We hope that this beautiful weather is bringing you and your family plenty of excitement and happiness!

What does this time of year mean for the real estate market?

It can be hard to determine what kind of market the summer can bring. We will definitely be seeing more cottages coming up on the beautiful Belwood and Conestoga Lakes as well as mobile homes coming up on Belwood Lake. If you are looking for that perfect slice of heaven without having to drive a few hours, let us know as there are some great options available right now!

A big influence on our summer market is what happened in the Spring market. Typically, the months of March, April, and May are the busiest time of the year for our real estate market. Due to so many factors it seems that this spring market was a little lackluster. When this has happened in the past, like back in 2020, a lot of Buyers wanted to wait out the unique market before jumping in. It seems that currently we are in a similar holding pattern for many Buyers who are uncertain of where this market will go. The good news is that there are still buyers out there if you are looking to Sell!

For our Buyers, you have likely noticed that inventory has been growing as places have been sitting on the market longer than the 5-7 days we were seeing throughout Covid. This brings a great opportunity to make a well-advised decision when buying a home rather than a frantic and rushed one. We are starting to see more homes being sold with conditions which is great to make sure that you are protected as a Buyer from making an ill-informed, pressured decision.

HAPPY CANADA DAY!

Canada day is always such a great excuse to hang out with friends and family, fire up the grill, and get out to a community event! This year there are live events on again in Elora and Fergus!

Elora will be having a free hot dog lunch, live music and performances, and kids’ activities from 12PM-2PM at Bissel Park.

Fergus will be having its Canada Day celebrations at the CW Sportplex from 4PM-10PM with admission by donation. There will be live music, performances, food trucks, and of course FIREWORKS!

FOOD TRUCK FEST!

We would like to invite you to our combined event with the Fergus BIA and Twilight at Templin coming up July 27th from 4PM-9PM rain or shine! We will have several local food trucks and live music in our backyard at our Fergus office.
